The jigsaw blade is displaced horizontally to one side and then released so that it oscillate. The time taken for 10 oscillations, t is recorded by a stopwatch./The period of oscillation is recorded.

The experiment is repeated 4 times by using plasicine balls with mass = 40.0g, 50.0 g, 60.0 g, and 70.0 g
